Initial approval of the Zorrotzaurre Urbanisation Programme (PAU), for the Integrated Action 1, was given by the Bilbao City Council, today. As of publication of the agreement in the Official Bizkaia Gazette, the public documentation consultation period which lasts 20 working days. The PAU is the technical documentation, which determines how Zorrotzaurre is to be managed. The Call for Tenders by the Management Commission for the contracting of technical assistance for the drawing up of the Urbanisation Project for the Execution Unit 1 of the Integrated Action Plan 1 of the mixed area of Zorrotzaurre was published today in the Offical Bizkaia Gazette. A total of 21 teams of architects, engineers and landscape designers have registered tenders for the Zorrotzaurre Management Commission’s design competition for the Zorrotzaure green zones that finished today at midday. 14 of the 21 tenders were from temporary consortiums (UTE) and involved 40 companies. 16 of the companies were from Bizkaia, the local province, 12 from Barcelona, 3 from Guipuzkoa, 3 from Madrid, 2 from Valencia, 2 from Holland, 1 from Araba and 1 from the USA.
