The second public consultation on the Zorrotzaurre Special Plan begins
Approval for the new public consultation period for the Zorrotzaurre Special Plan was published today in The Official Bizkaia Gazette. This second consultation period will last 20 working days from June 9th to July 2nd. The new consultation period is a result of modifications to the original document of the Plan as a consequence of the inclusion of several proposals presented during the first public consultation period which took place last December and January. Approval for a further public consultation phase of the Zorrotzaurre Special Plan
The Bilbao City Council approved this morning a second public consultation phase of the Special Urban Plan for Zorrotzaurre. This Plan was, originally, approved by the Council last November 9th. The new consultation phase is justified by the inclusion of modifications to the original document of the Plan, as a consequence of the acceptance of some of the proposals received after the first public consultation phase, which took place between November 29th and January 26th. Demolition of a port warehouse located on the Deusto Canal begins
The demolition, by the Management Commission, of a port warehouse located on the right bank of the Deusto Canal began today. The building commonly known as the Jet Lag Building was a former warehouse of the shipping firm Agemasa. It has recently been the show-case for the activities of the Jet Lag Bio programme led by the Bilbao City Council in support of social and cultural expression by young people.
