Initial approval of the Execution Unit 1 of Zorrotzaurre
The Agreement for the management of the Execution Unit 1 of the Integrated Action Plan 1bof Zorrotzaurre was approved today by the Bilbao City Council. This first Execution Unit covers an area of 389,995m2 and includes the entire right bank of the Deusto Canal and the northern and southern ends of the future island. Once the Agreement is published in the Official Gazette of Bizkaia, the public period of consultation of the documentation, which runs for 20 working days, will begin. Reception of allegations to the Urbanisation Action Programme (PAU)
At the end of the public disclosure period of the Urbanisation Action Programme (PAU) of the Zorrotzaurre Integrated Action 1, 15 allegations were received. 3 from neighbourhood associations, 1 from another association, 1 from a riverbank homeowner and the other 10 from businesses and private individuals. The Management Commission, after due analysis, will issue a report for the Bilbao City Council with its opinion as to the acceptance or not of the proposals presented. The City Council will take a final decision on which allegations should be incororated into the PAU before its definitive approval.

Three disused buildings on the Ribera de Deusto demolished
The Management Commission has finished the demolition of three disused buildings at 38, Ribera de Deusto. Until recently, one of the buildings was occupied by the company Talleres Ibaya. The demolition carried out over two months by the company Viuda de Sainz has freed up one thousand square metres of land for the future works defined in the Special Plan for the area. The cost of 31,000 Euros included the most complete waste material management systems available.
