The Zorrotzaurre urban regeneration is one of the projects present in the exhibition “Archaeology of recent memory. City and territorial construction in Spain 1986 – 2012” inaugurated in Madrid last Thursday, January 30th. The exhibition reflects on the principal architectural works, urban transformations and new landscaping projects in the main Spanish cities over the last quarter of a century. Call for tenders for the drawing up of the technical project for the Zorrotzaurre to San Ignacio bridge
The Zorrotzaurre Management Commission call for tenders for the contracting of the technical assistance for the drawing up of the construction project for the bridge that will join Zorrotzaurre to San Ignacio. This bridge, financed by the Basque Government, will be 75 metres long, and 26 metres wide with two lanes for private transport, two lanes for public transport, two pavements and a bicycle lane. The bridge will also carry the water supply and waste water elimination, gas, electricity and communication conduits. Four new owners join the Zorrotzaurre Contracting Board
The period for new owners to join the Contracting board of the Execution Unit 1 of Zorrotzaurre has finalised with four new owner-members. These join the five original members (Visesa, the Basque Government, The Bllbao City Hall, the Sociedad Promotora Margen Derecha and Vicinay Cadenas) who set up the Board on October 15th last year. The nine owners represent 78.6% of the land covered by Execution Unit 1.
