Grant aid from Bilbao Ekintza for economic dynamization projects for Zorrotzaurre
The Official Bizkaia Gazette published on September 13th, a Bilbao Ekintza E.P.E programme of grants for projects contributing to the economic dynamization of Zorrotzaurre. Two types of action will be supported: programmes and actions for the promotion and consolidation of business initiatives and actions which favour the attraction of the general public and the positioning of the future island. Expenses covered by the programme are: salaries of the staff of the entity; utility expenses including telephone and internet; materials and consumibles related to the activities covered by the grant and other expenses with the prior acceptation of Bilbao Ekintza. A group of Indian real estate developers visited Bilbao for two days this week, to see for themselves, the development projects undertaken in recent years. The group of 51 top managers of companies belonging to the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of the City of Pune (CREDAI) met with architects’ studios and local companies in Bizkaia to explore new business opportunities. The Zorrotzaurre Contracting Board has called for tenders for technical assistance for the drawing up of the Project to strengthen the quaysides on the Nervión estuary within the area of the Zorrotzaurre Execution Unit 1. The drawing up of the strengthening Project will have as a reference the conclusions of the study carried out by the Bilbao City Council where the capacity of the quaysides to support a maximum admissible load of 2 tons/m2 was analysed.
