A delegation from the French companyLinkcity, the real estate branch of the Bouygues Group,comprising 50 professionals,has visited Bilbao this week to gain first-hand insight into the main urban development projects undertaken in the capital of Vizcaya in recent years.

Bilbao City Hall and the Kunsthal advanced design studies centre, located in the town of Irún in the neighbouring Guipuzcoa have signed an agreement whereby the City Hall assigns the EdificioPapelera (the former paper mill building) as the venue of the new centre the Kunsthal is going to install in Bilbao.
Kunsthal, founded in 1998, is an entity devoted to training new professionals in the specialisms of Advertising Graphics (graphic design), Projects and Works Management (interior design) and Garden Design and Landscaping. It is the only private centre in Euskadi offering advanced studies in these specialist fields.
Its teaching faculty includes professionals related to different fields of art and design (architects, historians, archaeologists, designers, publicists, artists…).
In September 2019, the EdificioPapelera will open its doors as an advanced design studies centre after conclusion of the refurbishment works to be undertaken by the City Hall in conjunction with experts and professionals from Kunsthal, the budget for which lies in the region of half a million euros.

Deusto University has made public its intention to build its new medicine and nursing faculty in a building adjacent to the Zorrotzaurre IMQ clinic. The project will be undertaken by the Catalan architect Carlos Ferrater, designer of the Igualatorio clinic and will have a footage of 14,000 sq.m.
