This week building work has begun on the bridge that will join San Ignacio with Zorrotzaurre.The works on this second bridge to Zorrotzaurre, which will be financed by Visesa, are being undertaken by the temporary joint venture formed by the companiesFerrovial-Agroman S.A. and Viconsa S.A. awarded the tender called for this purpose by Visesa (Vivienda y Suelo de Euskadi S.A.).

The Tender Assessment Board of Execution Unit 1 of Zorrotzaurre has awarded the temporary joint venture formed by Viuda de Sainz S.A., Lurgoien S.A. and Jaureguizar Promoción y Gestión Inmobiliaria S.L. the contract for undertaking the urbanisation works of Phase A of the Zorrotzaurre project.

Last Thursday Deusto University library (Bilbao) hosted a working session of the In Focus European cities network.

On Friday the Managing Committee manager, Pablo Otaola, took the forum participants on a guided tour of the Zorrotzaurre peninsula, where they were able to verify the state of development of its regeneration plan.
