The Council of Ministers gives the go-ahead to the tender process to undertake filling Works in Deusto canal

On Friday, the Council of Ministers agreed to authorise the Bilbao Port Authority to putout calls to tender for the filling works necessary to undertake the urban development in Zorrotzaurre. The tender shall be via a patrimonial sales contract on a future asset.

The filling Works imply a gain of 50.000 m2 of land in the Deusto canal,which will form part of Zorrotzaurre Integrated Action 2.

The Port Authority aims to award the tender this year (2018), whereby the works may begin in early 2019.
