Inauguration of an indoor rockodrome in Zorrotzaurre
Since last Saturday, Zorrotzaurre now has a covered rockodrome. Located in the Piugaz Bilbao warehouse in Calle Olagorta, 25, next to the former Artiach factory it occupies 2,000 square metres. The construction of the climbing centre, with over 100 blocks for all types of taste and levels of skill from beginners to professionals has been developed by a group of professional sportspeople who have managed a similar space in the city of Florence for over a decade. The developers highlight that by size and variety of installations, the new rockodrome is among the best in Europe.

Reception of allegations to the Zorrotzaurre Land Reorganisation Project
At the end of the public disclosure period of the Land Reorganisation Project of the Execution Unit 1 of the Integrated Action Plan 1 of Zorrotzaurre, 41 allegations were received. Of these, 29 were presented by plot owners, 5 by companies operating in the area which need to transfer their activities and the other 7 by other agents involved. The Zorrotzaurre Management Commission, after due analysis of the allegations presented will decide on the acceptance or not of the proposals and will send its report to the Bilbao City Council.

The main structure of the Frank Gehry Bridge in place
The parts of the mainstructure of the Frank Gehry bridge have been placed on their supports on thefuture banks of the opened-up canal. The parts were manufactured by theengineering firm URSSA in Alava and were transported to Bilbao to be installed. With the supportsbuilt, the 20 pre-fabricated pieces between 14 and 20 metres long that make upthe bridge can be put in place. These pieces are provisionally placed on thesupports, which will be withdrawn once the definitive braces are in place.
