The partial demolition of the Agemasa building begins

16/09/2016

Zandesa, the company, which won the contract offered by the Contracting Board, has begun the partial demolition of the former Agemasa building. The works include the construction of a new provisional façade for the part of the building opened up by the demolition.

The building with a surface area of 3,600m2 is in San Ignacio, close to the Idom building and next to the future bridge, which will join the area to Zorrotzaurre.

The partial demolition (of around 1,600m2 of the left-hand side of the building) has the objective of freeing up sufficient space for the connection of Islas Canarias Street to the new bridge.

The other part of the building will be conserved for future social uses for local people.
