The Contracting Board calls for tenders to plant 1.603 trees

The Zorrotzaurre Contracting Board has called for tenders to plant 1,603 trees in the following municipally-owned mountains: Pikotamendi, the South Face of Arnótegi, Mount Arraiz, Mount Avril and Portal Zamudianos.

These trees are to be planted in compliance of the legally stipulated standard of planting one tree for every new home to be built and for every 100 sq. m. of tertiary sector land, and which would not be met merely with the trees that will be planted in the Zorrotzaurre area.

The tree species to be planted are: Ash, birch, tilia, red oak, quercus rubra, quercus robur and cherry.

The baseline tender budget for the works is 410,000 euros (ex. VAT). The term specified for performance of the works is four months.

The deadline for submitting bids closes at 14.00h on Wednesday 21 February 2018.
