The fifteenth anniversary of Zaha Hadid’s commissioning to draft the Zorrotzaurre Master Plan

Fifteen years ago today, the Zorrotzaurre Management Committee decided to commission the Anglo-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadidwith the drafting of the Master Plan for the district’s urban regeneration project.

ZahaHadid’s teamdrew up first version of the Master Plan in 2004, which was on display for one month in the Fine Arts Museum, to then undertake the design giving rise to the final Project in 2007.

Zaha Hadid died in March 2016.
