Today sees the sixth anniversary of the official opening of the new IDOM headquarters, the first building to be completed under the urban regeneration project for the Zorrotzaurre area.

Located in the lower end of San Ignacio, next to the Deusto Canal, its futuristic design in green, was created by the architect Javier Pérez Uribarri, who forms part of the architecture division at IDOM.

The building took advantage of the structure of the former Bonded Warehouse and cost 30 million euros.

With nearly 15,000m2 spread over 5 floors, the building incorporates cutting-edge energy-saving technologies to achieve the highest levels of energy efficiency. Over 900 professionals work in the building.

The Zorrotzaurre Management Commission has created a video about the building that can be seen in the Project-Operations section of this web.
