Bilbao City Hall is this week taking part in the sixth edition of the World Cities Summit, the mayors and cities summit held in Singapore from 8 to 12 July.

The World Cities Summit is a global event addressing Governance and Sustainable Development in cities, in which hundreds of government leaders, politicians and private sector experts are taking part. This year, the summit is being held under the heading“Liveable and Sustainable Cities: Embracing the Future through Innovation and Collaboration”,and it will be attended by mayors and political figures of great importance from over one hundred cities in the five continents.

Bilbao, whose delegation is headed by the Councillor for the Mayor’s Office, Human Resources and Contracting, Gotzone Sagardui, will be organising some specific sessions to inform attendees on the Zorrotzaurre Island Project as an area of opportunities and a spotlight for attracting investments, thus fostering economic development with the support of the Invest in Bilbao platform.
